missingWrote a review on Dec 22helpful staffcomplimentary snacksair conditioning issueguest inconsiderationbreakfast cleanliness
The stay included nice complimentary snacks like popcorn and cookies, enhancing the experience. The room was clean, and the staff were remarkably friendly and helpful. However, there was a minor issue with the air conditioning that was quickly resolved. It would have been better if some fellow guests were more considerate during breakfast, as there were cleanliness issues to address afterward.

The location was ideal, just a short drive from the university, making it great for our visit to a football game. Our room was clean, and we appreciated the snacks and lemonade offered in the lobby. However, we did face some inconvenience as our first room wasn't cleaned properly, but the staff quickly reassigned us to a well-maintained room. Overall, a decent stay despite a few hiccups.

Great spot for the game!
We stayed for 2 nights close to ND for the football game. The room was comfy, and the free cookies and popcorn at night really hit the spot. The breakfast was nice too, but the coffee could be better. Just a heads up, the elevator was acting up, so we had to lug our bags upstairs.

stayed at larkspur landing for one night. the location was super convenient, right by the interstate. the staff were awesome! they noticed we had a baby and two dogs, so they upgraded us to a disability access room. it made everything much easier. definitely a plus for family travelers!
the elevator was old and out of service, which was a hassle with our luggage.

missingWrote a review on Aug 08comfortable bedscozy kitchenetteindoor poolhallway carpet
I loved the cozy vibe of this hotel, especially the super comfortable beds and the great little kitchenette that made our stay feel like home. The indoor pool was a fantastic place for the kids to unwind after a long day, and the exercise room was a bonus for me to sneak in a workout. The only small issue was that the hallway carpet could use a refresh, but it didn't dampen our overall fun visit! 😊

I enjoyed my stay at Larkspur Landing. The friendly staff and clean rooms created a cute atmosphere. I did encounter some noise from slamming doors during the night. Still, the proximity to local attractions made it worthwhile.

missingWrote a review on Jul 14friendly stafflocal theatersgood cultural experiencefrustrating key issue
We visited the local theaters, and it was a great cultural experience. The atmosphere was chill, and the staff were friendly. Just a heads up for future guests—the breakfast options could be better, but it's better than most budget spots.
One night, our room keys just stopped working, which was super frustrating. We ended up needing to get them reprogrammed multiple times.

missingWrote a review on Jun 19bright poolconvenient locationoutdated decor
The pool area features plenty of natural light, making it a nice spot to unwind after a long day. The hotel provides a convenient location for nearby dining and shopping options, perfect for grabbing a quick bite or some essentials.
The hotel feels a bit run down, with outdated décor scattered throughout. My experience was impacted by a poorly draining tub and an ice machine that wasn't operational. Additionally, the mattress lacked comfort, making it tough to get a good night's sleep. Room numbers can be confusing, with odd and even rooms positioned far apart, which created unnecessary hassle during my stay. Also, the fact that the elevator was out of order for a duration was less than ideal.

I stayed at Larkspur Landing for a couple of nights recently. The location is fantastic, just a short drive from downtown South Bend and nearby attractions. My room, a King Study Room, was spacious and clean, with comfortable bedding that made it easy to relax. I appreciated the laundry facilities, which were convenient for a longer stay. The complimentary breakfast had a good variety, but it could use some additional options. I enjoyed the cozy lounge area, perfect for unwinding after a busy day. Unfortunately, I faced issues with the key card to my room. it stopped working multiple times, which was frustrating and required several trips to the front desk for reprogramming. Despite this, the staff handled the situation promptly and were friendly throughout my visit, which helped ease the annoyance. Overall, I liked my stay but wish there were more consistency with the room access.

The spacious one-bedroom suite was beautifully appointed, making it easy for me to move around comfortably. The staff were incredibly accommodating, ensuring I had everything I needed during my stay, which I truly appreciated as a senior.
Better breakfast variety would enhance the experience.
